| its September... so its time for a post... but this isn't an average/updating post- one of those will come later.
But for now, my thoughts reguarding my major:
I’m in college. People go to college to get a degree… so it makes sense that I would have people constantly asking me about school. They ask what my major is… “Religious Studies, with a minor in Child Development.” They as what I want to do with it…and I say “well.. right now I work at a preschool and I like it.” They never seem very impressed- Religious Studies isn’t really a very common answer, and its not really overflowing with job possibilities.
But the truth is: I don’t care. I’m not in college so I can make more money one day. My minor, with kids, is something more ‘job’ oriented. But my major really is where my passion is. Religious Studies, though being taught in the bible belt, isn’t all about Christianity. Sure- I love my Biblical Studies classes, but I like the others just as well. The reason my major is religious studies??... Because the first step of evangelism is listening. Until we understand someone else’s whole worldview, what they believe, then we have no idea how to even being to approach them with the good News of Jesus.
That’s why I like religious studies. What do I want to be when I graduate? Or when I grow up??? I want to be whatever Jesus wants me to be. I’ll go wherever He sends me. | | |

August is flying by too!
I've been married 8 months! Wowzers!! Seems like yesterday.
Oh how I LOVE coming home and laying my head on my best friends shoulder- knowing that he loves me as much as I love him.
We have 1 1/2 weeks of FREEDOM left before we head back to classes- and I start to be swamped with homework everynight- wondering if it will ever end.
Sometimes it seems like life is flying by..... and then other times (when i'm watching 20 kids outside in 100 degrees)... I wonder why time is going so slowly.
However I just come home and realize that I love every minute of my life- whether its flying by, creeping along, filled with tears or laughter. My Savior created every minute. And i'm going to enjoy them all- until i'm Home with him :)
OH how i love my Jesus.
Joel and I are deciding where to live at the end of this school year. He'll be graduated, and I'll be a senior. An apartment is always available- but its just money down the tubes- not to mention is so expensive to own a dog (and i REALLY want one). So we're really really considering buying a house. We both love Springfield- its pretty much perfect. We've found a ton of cute cute houses that we'd love to buy. We'll just keep our eyes open- and see what God has to offer us- we'll see if the timing/price/house/apt. etc is right. We're excited. :D
Our church up here is opening a new building in about a month!! We're both really excited- its such an awesome church group and i'm excited to see where God will lead us all in a new building with new opportunities.
Last week we went up north to spend a week with Joel's family. Oh how I miss them now. I love them. Ty, Grant, Lori, David- then the cousins and grandparents. I wish we weren't so far away. Its just so nice to be a part of a family thats different from your own- and then to be included and become a part of them. Its being accepted into a whole new heart- see how they love, they joke, they talk. Its great. I miss them already.
Other than that- its HOT outside!
I'm excited about CCH when school starts! Oh how i LOVE everyone there! I miss them!
I went swimming tonite! I'm a little fish!
I also ate some watermellon! YUMM! I love fresh summer food!
Thats about it for now!!

It felt so awesome to worship

all of them praising the same

who saved MY soul,
touched THEIR lives,
forgave OUR sins.
What an AWESOME GOD!
I really loved being with the youth group.
I really love kids.
From Little to Big.
Theirs just something about seeing
people's hearts-
when little kids are still too young to know the difference,
and big Kids decide to share their hearts with you,
their pains,
their joys,
their hopes.....
it makes me so grateful, small, blessed, & loved.
My bestest BETH is in IRELAND!
I can't wait to hear EVERY adventure and
see EVERY picture when she gets back!
Somedays my days are great.
Sometimes they're anything but.
yet everyday I get to come home
to arms that love me.
Its perfect.
I imagine its just a glimpse
of how it will feel when the
creator of the universe
Holds me tight
to his chest
and whispers to my ear
that He Loves Me.

| june is flying by. i have to summer classes.
i might drop one - cause the final is when i'm going to
pick up beth from St Louis- and go see the Binkleys. my job is fun. and usually hot.
the kids like the water sprinkler.
and they're cute.
I think i'm going to take pictures of them today.
i'm going to Michigan in July
with Pomona
for CIY.
Joel and I are sponsors

I'm excited.
Aaron Pelsue will be there
and that makes me miss AudraH Dennis.
I wish we could stop by Chicago on the way and see
Oprah.

I really do wanna go to Chicago one day.
and when i do,
I WILL see oprah.
even though i haven't seen her show since
high school.
I like Jesus.
I celebrated by getting a new pretty Bible.
My other one was rather large-
and i'd taped it many a time.
I use sunless tanner lotion..
cause my legs are glowing white :)
lipstick is a hard thing to buy... you never know what it
looks like until you've already bought it.
Political science is BORING.
telecourses are not really the best way to take a course. FYI.
I love honey bunches of oats with the
strawberry pieces.. MMMmmM~!

| This is me when I was 8 years old.
This is Margaret when she was still just a puppy.
Mags and I just hit it off. We really really just loved each other.
Mags was my best friend. 
This is me when I was about 18. Mags was still my best friend. Just something
about her.... I loved her so much. I felt so bad when I had to leave
her to go to college.
lol... Once, when i still lived at home, My mom and I had gone to walmart for
groceries, and we'd bought, among other things, some Chicken breasts.
When we got home I went to my room and was sitting on the floor working
on something, when in comes Margaret- walking really really slowly, her head down
but her little eyes looking at me all sweetly, each step she took looked really light
and slow. I could tell she was carrying something in her mouth and i thought it might
have been a hurt bird or something, so i said "MARGARET! what do you have?"
and she just walked up to me sooo slowly and sweetly, and dropped one of those
chicked breasts in my hands, and then looked up at me as if to say "Look cas! i found
us a yummy yummy treat that we can share!" It was hillarious.
She is my bestest friend. 
This is me and mags 6 months ago.
She was my favorite part of coming home from college.
Every time mom came to springfield to see me I'd make her bring Mags with her,
so i could see her .
Margaret used to always sleep under the foot of my bed.
Everytime i would come home from college she would come back into my room
and sleep there.
Joel and I were home last weekend. We had just gotten into bed, when I heard
Mags come in my room, and real slowly she crawled up onto the foot of my bed.
Normally i don't let her ON my bed... but that night I just let her stay.
I just pet her and told her i loved her.
I'm so glad I did. 
Mags died last night. I've been crying for like 3 days now. I'm really ok....
its just going to suck next time i go "home" and my Best friend won't be there
to give me a hug. Shes been a huge part of my life.
